A Purpose Driven Life Chapter 36 - You Were Made for a Mission
Chapter Overview: You were made for a mission. 'Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age'Matt 28:19-20.

Rick differentiates between ministry and mission. He says ministry is service we do for the Body of Christ and we also have a mission to everyone that doesn't know Jesus. He talks about his father who was a preacher for 50 years and how on his deathbed in delirium he was still trying to save one last soul. Rick also mentioned the great commission and how it must have been important for Jesus to mention it 5 different times.

What fears have kept me from the mission God made me to accomplish? What keeps me from telling others the Good News? Probably what they think.... They won't care... It won't mean anything to them... I won't do it affectively.Ministry is my service to believers. Mission is my service to unbelievers. It's a responsibility. Rick's story about his dad is certainly inspiring.
